Yocum looking for more offers

With a number of schools still looking for a quarterback in this class, Kyle Yocum of Reading (Pa.) Exeter is in a very good position. Several schools recently stopped by to watch Yocum throw, and he will look to showcase his abilities even further at a few camps.
"Recruiting has gone well," said Yocum. "I have offers from Bucknell, Colgate, Lafayette, Buffalo and last week, Delaware. Just recently I threw for Villanova, Temple, Syracuse and Towson. I've also had visits from a lot of other schools."

The schools that Yocum threw for left impressed with what they saw.
"I got great feedback from the coaches with talk of possible offers," said Yocum, who is 6-foot-2 and 220-pounds.
With the Spring Evaluation Period nearing an end, Yocum will turn his attention to his upcoming summer camp schedule.
"I'm working that out now," he said. "I'm narrowing it down to the schools with the most interest. I'm looking at Delaware, Boston College, Bucknell and Villanova.:"
Unlike many other prospects, Yocum is using the camp experience as a way to further gain information about each school, instead of just going to prove himself.
"I'm not looking to really prove anything," said Yocum. "I just want to see which school is the best fit."
When he is looking for that best fit, Yocum will have his eyes open for a few specific things.
"I'm looking for a combination of great academics, with very competitive football and with coaches that I connect with," said Yocum.
