Yet Another Michigan Commitment
"He committed to Michigan," Brian Thompson's father Dick confirmed moments ago. "He turned down a visit to Notre Dame this weekend. They offered, but he wanted to move on."
"He's going to Michigan as a linebacker."

And why not? The 6-foot-3 and 215 pound Thompson has been a standout linebacker for Saginaw (Mich.) Nouvel since his sophomore season. Thompson, who also plays tight end, has a 3.4 GPA and scored a 20 on the ACT.
Thompson narrowed things down to Michigan and Penn State before selecting the Wolverines.
