Yet another La Marque star commits

La Marque, Texas, is loaded with so much talent that almost 15 kids could end up signing college scholarships with somebody before signing day is over. Two players are already committed and the team has one of the state’s top juniors already pledged. But it’s time to add another to the list of commitments.

According to teammates and sources close to the situation, SMU has landed a commitment form two-star athlete Wilton McCray.

McCray is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound linebacker but he could project at a number of different positions because of his size and 4.5-second speed in the 40-yard dash.

“I know that Wilton committed to SMU,” teammate Rejaie Johnson said. “He was really excited about it."
