Yellow Jackets pick up defensive tackle

Georgia Tech continues to focus on in-state prospects. The Yellow Jackets have nine commitments and all nine all from football players from the Peach State. The latest is Shawn Green, a defensive tackle from Loganville, Ga.
"I committed to Georgia Tech this morning," Green said. "It seems like it would be an easy transition, it's not far away and it's the home state. They run the same stunts and schemes that we do here. I also really like the entire coaching staff and the city of Atlanta."
Green, 6-1 and 280 pounds, had 69 tackles, 22 tackles for a loss and seven sacks. Green, from Loganville, committed to Georgia Tech over Ole Miss.
