Orwin Smith is a running back prospect from Phenix City (Ala.) Central High School that just made his decision. Smith, 6-0 and 190 pounds, just committed to Georgia Tech.
"I love the environment there and I love the city (of Atlanta)," Smith said. "I have been to games at Georgia Tech as well. Its not too far from home but there seems to be a nice distance. It's a great school with great academics. I get along with all the coaches there very well."

Smith committed to the Yellow Jackets over Vanderbilt and Southern Miss. He will play the A-back position for Georgia Tech.
"I think my style fits in well there (with the triple option). I like to get downfield as quick as possible and I play well in space. It's the right offense for me.
"It was a hard decision and I was nervous about picking the right school. I have seen guys make the wrong decision and I didn't want to be another one. That made it hard. In the end Georgia Tech was No. 1."
Central finished the season 4-6 and missed the playoffs. He finished with over 1,000 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.
