"Getting an offer from Stanford was exciting too. They have a great school and they play football too.
"I went to a Florida game last fall and then they offered. I was expecting that one. Then they won the national championship.
"Those three were all very exciting to me. Then again, they all are. I mean Duke is a great academic school. Tennessee offered and they are in the SEC and the SEC is incredible."
This past weekend Yankey spent time down in Atlanta on a visit to Georgia Tech.
"I like the campus. I like the big city. Georgia Tech runs the same offense as we do so it would be an easy transition for me."
So far Yankey has seen South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Duke, and Georgia Tech.
"I am pretty open right now with everyone. I am expecting and hoping some offers come along like Georgia, Georgia Tech, FSU, Alabama, Auburn and some others."
Yankey will be one of the most sought after offensive tackles prospects from the Peach State. Since last season he has worked hard in the weight room and that hard work has paid off.
"My playing weight last year was around 235, 240 pounds. Now I am at 278. Much of that is muscle and I have gotten a lot stronger. My strengths are my feet and good hop explosion. I think I do a lot of things very well. I just need to keep getting bigger and stronger."
Yankey is hoping to visit Athens and the University of Georgia this weekend.
