Yancy still searching

Glendale (Ariz.) Ironwood three-star strongside defensive end William Yancy is one of the top players in Arizona and after already taking two official visits to Arizona State and Purdue, he's now searching for his other finalists.
And what's making it more difficult is that more teams continue to show more interest in him. With big-time offers already from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado State, Oregon State, Purdue, Utah, UTEP and Boise State, he's recently picked up new offers from Fresno State and Wyoming.

He's also got a new batch of suitors interested in him.
"Just recently I've been talking to Baylor along with Oregon, Oklahoma, and getting the attention of UCLA," he said. "I'm up to 12 offers. My most recent were Fresno State and Wyoming."
"My top teams would be UCLA, Miami of course if they offer, Arizona State, and Purdue also."
With those two early trips in the books it doesn't look like he'll take any more trips at this point – at least not until football is over with.
"I haven't set up any visits since Arizona State, and I won't take any more trips until after the season," he said. "The season is almost over so playoffs are about to start."
Speaking of the season, how are things going for him?
"I've been doing pretty well," he said. "This last game I recorded a sack and five or six tackles. I also pressured the quarterback a lot. We're 6-2 right now. We'll make playoffs and we'll have a great chance at making a run for state this year."
And when he's done, he'll figure out the rest of the recruiting process.
"I'm not even sure at the moment what other schools I'm going to visit," he said. "I need to organize when I'm going to take my visits. I just want to keep working hard for the rest of the season and try to win state with the rest of my team."
