The nation’s top-rated quarterback still on the board says he’ll announce his college decision Sunday night at his high school.
“I’m making my decision tonight, and I’ll be announcing it out our football banquet,” said five-star Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze standout Xavier Lee. “It’s between three schools – Texas, Auburn or Florida State.”
Asked if he had a hunch on who would come out on top, Lee played it close to the vest.
“It’s pretty even,” he said with a laugh. “But hopefully I’ll know by tonight.”
Florida State remains the odds-on favorite for Lee (6-4, 200, 4.5), who passed for 3,133 yards and 37 touchdowns while rushing for 567 yards and 10 scores as a senior.
A member of the Rivals100 Team, he’s the No. 1 rated dual-threat quarterback in the nation.
