Wynn taking his time

Defensive end Courtnye Wynn of Norfolk (Va.) Norfolk Christian School has remained rather quiet, while offers continue to come in. With two recent offers from the Big Ten, Wynn is approaching ten offers, but also seems in no rush to make a final decision.
"I've seen everybody from Oregon to Ohio State," said Wynn, who is 6-foot-6 and 240-pounds. "It has been awesome to meet all the big time coaches that have come down to Norfolk to see me."

Wynn already held offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia, Notre Dame, Connecticut, N.C. State, Vanderbilt and Navy, and recently added two more.
"Illinois and Michigan State are the most recent and maybe four or five other schools said that they would return with offers," said Wynn.
Overall, Wynn claims that Virginia Tech, Virginia, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Illinois have been showing him the most persistent interest recently. Wynn attended spring games at Virginia Tech and Virginia, but has no further plans scheduled at this time.
"I'll probably hit some one-day camps though," said Wynn.
The big end does know that he is no rush to make an early commitment.
"I'm taking my time so that I can make the right choice," said Wynn, who was also asked if he has any favorites. "Not right now. There are a bunch of rants and raves about my favorite and even some insults to me, my family, coaches and friends. So I'll play it safe and say that there is no favorite right now."
In the meantime, Wynn is preparing for his senior season.
"It's going great," he said. "I'm planning on playing a little lighter this year. I played at around 250 to 260 last year, and this year I'm looking to play anywhere from 230 to 245. I'm also getting quicker feet and better north-south, east-west movement."
