Wynn sets first visit

This team of year there are a lot of names that begin to heat up in recruiting circles, especially in the Sunshine State. One prospect in that category is Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast linebacker Andrew Wynn.
“I have written offers from Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, East Carolina, UAB and Southern Miss,” Wynn said. “Others are recruiting me, but those are the ones that have offered. I had just gotten off the phone with Marshall, Middle Tennessee State and East Carolina before you called.”

The 6-foot-0, 220-pound Wynn runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, has a 345-pound bench press and a 415-pound squat.
“I have a visit set up for East Carolina on January 7,” Wynn said. “I’m not ready to name a top five yet, but I am getting closer to narrowing it down. I just want to take some visits before I make a decision.”
So far this season Wynn has 90 tackles, four interceptions, four recovered fumbles and two sacks. In his junior campaign, Wynn registered 101 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions. He also played fullback, but was used mostly in blocking situations.
