WVU, Temple pushing for PA WR

While man prospects spend the better part of the summer taking visits to college campuses heading into their senior seasons, Class of 2015 three-star Aliquippa (Penn.) wide receiver Patrick Anderson is taking a different approach.
"I'm done visiting for the rest of the summer," Anderson over the weekend at the Drew Brees Passing Academy in Florida. "I've only been to football camps but nothing on campus and I think I'm just going to wait until the fall."

Despite his lack of in-person visits, Anderson is still getting plenty of interest.
"West Virginia and Temple are the schools I'm talking to the most," he said. "We check in with one another and they talk to me personally about what's going on."
As a pass catcher, Anderson said he's paying close attention to West Virginia's evolving offense.
"They're trying to develop their passing game and I think they can," he said. "Last year they had a good passing game but they're still developing their quarterback so they run it a lot but they have a good wide receivers coach and I think he'll get them going so they should really be able to throw it this year."
Temple is a school relatively close to home for Anderson and he said he's been able to build a good bond with the Owls coaches.
"Their wide receivers coach is recruiting me and it's better for me because I get to know him personally and he's going to be the one coaching me," Anderson said. "Plus he's from where I'm from so that's good and he's a good person. I actually met their offensive coordinator too and we have good chemistry. We all know what we want and how we can win and they told me they think I can be that person that makes a difference in their offense."
Anderson added that he plans to take visits again in the fall, but said he's not sure which schools will get official visits.
