Offensive tackle Zach Anderson is one of the top prospects in the Keystone State and he already has an impressive offer list. One school has come on strong in the past few weeks and they appear to have convinced the lineman to take a visit.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder from Prospect Park (Pa.) Interboro has seen a lot of interest from West Virginia recently.
“West Virginia hasn’t offered, but they mentioned they may in the near future. They’re really starting to recruit me hard. I’ve scheduled an official visit to West Virginia for Jan. 21. I’ve already got a trip to Akron planned for later this month, on Dec. 17. Then on Jan. 14, the week before West Virginia I’m going to Pitt. I hope I’m able to take the last two visits too, but I’m not sure where else I would go right now.”
Anderson has offers from Pittsburgh, Purdue, Virginia and Akron. He helped Interboro to a 9-3 mark in his senior campaign, narrowly missing out on a bid to the playoffs.
This season Anderson helped Interboro to a 9-3 record as they missed the playoffs.
A three-star tackle, Anderson is rated the No. 45 tackle in the country. He mentioned that he may soon have in-home visits with West Virginia, Akron and Pittsburgh. Anderson plans on making his decision closer to Signing Day.
