WVU is Alstons latest

Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek linebacker Quinton Alston is on a roll of late with offers pouring in from schools in the region and beyond.
West Virginia is the latest school to jump into the mix, as the Mountaineers have now put a scholarship on the table.

"I just picked up another offer, from West Virginia," Alston said via text message on Thursday afternoon.
"Actually, my coach just called me and informed me that they (WVU) had offered me. I have talked to coach Lockwood before but I haven't talked to them about the offer. I feel extremely blessed."
That's just more good news for Alston, who has also received offers from Duke, Iowa, Louisville, Old Dominion, Pitt, and Minnesota, which was his most recent until the West Virginia scholarship.
Earlier in the week Alston told Rivals.com that he plans on visiting Louisville on March 27. He will also attend one of Rutgers' spring practices, and you can expect that there will be visits to other schools sprinkled in. Alston is already thinking about the possibility of taking an official visit to Minnesota for their home game against Southern Cal in the fall.
