WV RB looking for more attention

Running back David Gaydosz of Winfield, W.V. enjoyed an impressive junior season and has also performed extremely well at a number of camps and events. Now he is hoping that all of this success will translate into more recruiting success in the coming months.
"Recruiting is going well," said Gaydosz, who is 5-foot-10 and 186-pounds. "No scholarships yet, which is frustrating, but I have been talking to a lot of coaches lately. I have been getting handwritten letters from Marshall and Ohio University, where I will be attending spring games and practices. I have also been talking to Hawaii recently, where my Mom is from and was invited for a visit and camp."

Gaydosz has already taken several visits and has been asked to return by a majority of the schools.
"I have been invited to Marshall, Duke, Ohio, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Akron and Bowling Green," he said. "I have taken visits to all the schools besides Bowling Green."
With all of these visits already behind him, Gaydosz was asked if any of them stood out to this point.
"The biggest stand out so far would have to be Ohio," he said. "My cousin was a captain there in 2000. They have been the most interested so far and are adding onto their football program. The future for them looks very bright at the moment."
During his junior season Gaydosz finished with 1,071 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on 153 carries. He hopes to improve a few facets of his game this off-season as well as set a few goals for the upcoming season.
"I am working to improve on my leadership skills even though I was already a team captain last year as a junior," said Gaydosz. "My role in that part will increase as being the first person at my school to make 1st team AAA All-State. It's hard to grasp all the attention that I am getting, and it puts all the eyes on me to set a good example on the field and in the classroom. I also hope to win games and take our team to our first playoff appearance since 2004."
This spring Gaydosz will attend both the Rivals.com/VTO Events Camp in Pittsburgh on April 15th, plus one of the local Nike Camps.
