WV linebacker a solid 09 prospect

This is the first year that Keyser, West Virginia prospect Taige Redman has lined up as a linebacker and so far the results have been solid. The 6-foot-1, 205 pound prospect has good skills and a knack for making plays, so he is one to watch over the next year and a half.
Thus far Keyser is off to a 2-0 start and Redman is undoubtedly a big part of that. While he is undersized, he is also spending time at offensive line, a position he will not play at the next level. That said, he could develop into a top defensive prospect in the state of West Virginia over the next few months.

"This is the first year I've played linebacker and I think it's going pretty well," Redman said. "I played defensive end before that so I'm not sure what I'll be recruited to play. Whatever coaches feel like I can do, I'll be able to do to."
Redman attended the NIKE Camp at State College over the summer as well as a camp at Pitt. He came away impressed with both schools, and the two programs from the Keystone State are at the top of his list.
"I had a good time at both camps and was really impressed with the things I saw," Redman said. "They both had really nice campuses and I was impressed with the facilities. The coaches were really cool too.
"When I make my decision I'm going to be looking at academics first and foremost. Then I'll just take a look at the overall picture and see where I can become the best that I can be, on the field and off. I'd obviously like to play at a good program too."
