Wu woos Oregon State
When Patrick Wu showed up at the Rivals100.com Metroplex Junior Day this spring, he definitely passed the eyeball test. But for some reason teams didn’t recruit him heavily. That was until he sent a tape to Oregon State two weeks ago.

And the rest is history.
That’s because Wu has committed to the Beavers.
“They are a big Division I program and Coach (Dennis) Erickson is a good coach," Wu said of Oregon State. "They seem to have a very bright future."
Wu said he will likely red-shirt his freshman season and will play either tackle or guard. He was also recruited by Navy and Rice, but neither stepped up to the plate like OSU did.
