Wrights visit better than expected

St. Petersburg (Fla.) Northeast running back Leon Wright didn't have any problem leaving the warm weather of the Sunshine state for an official visit to the Midwest. In fact, Wright was very impressed with his trip to Ball State in Indiana.
"I just got back," Wright said. "I had a great time. Everything was wonderful.

"I liked the campus. I liked the players. I liked the stadium and the coaches a lot too. We hung out with the players and had dinner with the coaches.
"And the weather was better than I expected. The whole visit was."
However it's not decision time yet for the 5-foot-10 and 175 pound Wright.
"I was supposed to visit Akron last weekend," he said. "I think I'll reschedule that.
"I've talked to West Virginia and USF, but they haven't offered a scholarship. We'll see how that goes. Ball State and Akron have offered.
"I can't say I have a favorite."
