Wrighter lines up visits for Tigers and Hogs
Marlin, Texas safety D’Nerian Wrighter has continued to see a lot of action on the recruiting trail, but so far only two schools have been able to schedule official visits.
“There are still a whole lot of them calling,” the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Wrighter said. “It seems like it never quits. But, it is a good thing.”

“All of those schools have offered me a scholarship except for Notre Dame,” he said. “I am now at 50 offers.”
The two schools have lined up visits with Wrighter include Arkansas (Jan. 16) and Missouri (Dec. 12).
“I’ve only set up the two right now,” he said. “I’ll get the others done before long. It’s no real rush.”
On the season Marlin has run their record to 4-0 in district play.
“We have scored 168 points in the four district games,” he said. “We’ve held our opponents in those four to zero. We get our fifth shutout hopefully this Friday.”
