Wright shifts focus

One of the top safety prospects in the state of Texas was leaning toward Nebraska and Oklahoma at one point, but now he's signing a different song.
"Oklahoma State is my top team now," said Sweeny, Texas, standout safety Thomas Wright.

"I have gotten along with all of the coaches that have called, and they've told me that I'm one of the top players that they want, regardless of position."
And Wright is talented enough to earn that recognition.
He's also lined up a visit with the Cowboys, meaning he will be in Stillwater on Dec. 7.
Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Kansas State, Nebraska, Minnesota and Oklahoma have also all called this week. All but Texas and A&M have officially offered scholarships, Wright said.
"So far, Oklahoma State is the only one that I feel for sure about," Wright said. "I don't know about the others."
Wright recorded 17 tackles and rushed for 76 yards in last week's game. He is set to battle El Campo this weekend.
