Wright not rushing big decision

Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes outside linebacker B.J. Wright has one school in the lead for his services.
Southern Mississippi will play host to Wright this weekend and the Golden Eagles' coaching staff has caught his attention.

"They're on top right now because the coaches seem like they really care about the players there," Wright said.
At one time Florida was in the lead, but coaching changes have shifted things.
"It wasn't that anybody did anything, but with all of the Florida coaches at Illinois now it kind of took them out of the lead," he said.
A Jan. 28 trip to Illinois is possible and Wright says a decision will probably be a late one.
"I don't think I'll be deciding on my visit this weekend," he said. "This is big for me so I want to take all the time that I need."
Wright lists academics and playing time as major factors when making his choice.
