Wright makes CaliFlorida Bowl decision

To no ones surprise, Colton (Calif.) defensive back Shareece Wright announced during the third quarter of the CaliFlorida Bowl that he'll be signing with USC. Wright chose the Trojans over Oregon and Arizona.
We caught up with Wright during the week who told us the reasons for his decision.

"USC has always been my dream school," Wright said. "For me, the whole year, I was just waiting on that offer and they were just waiting for my grades to improve. They said they never had any doubt about my ability but just wanted me to improve my test score.
"Once I did that, they offered me and I knew I was going there. I love USC and all the coaches there. They have a great team and Coach Carroll is a defensive minded coach who specializes in defensive backs.
"Even though USC is loaded, they actually have a need for corners and like my combination of size and speed. I'm a physical player who loves to hit and I think I'll be a great fit in there defense."
Wright, 6-0, 180 pounds had a big senior season and elavated his stock quite a bit in our eyes. In fact, we now feel Wright is the top cornerback in the West region and should be listed among the top 100 players in the nation.
