Wright enjoys trip to WVU

Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College linebacker Barry Wright took his first official visit of the year. And he came away pretty impressed.
“I went to West Virginia over the weekend,” the 5-foot-11, 215-pound Wright said. “It was a good time. Everything seemed to go really well. The players were all in a pretty good mood. That had a lot to do with the game, I think. It was a nice ballgame.”

Wright witnessed West Virginia defeat No. 16 Pittsburgh 52-31.
“I am still looking around,” he said. “West Virginia is pretty close. I’m almost ready to commit. But, I want to take a couple more visits.”
Two schools on the mind of Wright include Florida State and East Carolina.
“I’m trying to set one up to both of those schools,” he said. “Nothing yet, but I think I’ll get those done soon.”
Wright has helped lead Coffeyville to a 9-2 record and a post season berth.
“We have a bowl game on November 30. We find out tomorrow (Monday) who we play.”
