Rodrique Wright, the nation’s top defensive tackle from Alief (Texas) Hastings, has 65 tackles, four sacks, four hurries and two fumble recoveries this season. But the real news is that Wright has eliminated one team from consideration.
Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Tennessee and LSU are his top teams, but Kansas State has been removed from the most recent list.
"I just seem to have lost touch with them," Wright said.

He has an official visit set with Texas for Dec. 14 and a tentative date with Tennessee for Jan. 11. Texas A&M will get the first crack at a visit with Wright on November 23.
Texas is still the favorite in the Wright household, though.
"Coach Brewster from Texas called and left a message asking, 'Can you come down and start for us this Saturday',” Wright said. “That would have to be the best one liner I've heard throughout the recruiting process."
