WR Williams talking with Badgers
Milwaukee (Wis.) South's Fred Williams has been a varsity starter on both sides of the ball since her freshman year. This outstanding wide receiver and cornerback was his conference player of the year his junior season.
The 5-foot-11 and 180 pound Williams led his conference in receptions and receiving yards last season. Williams is also a fine basketball player and track athlete.

"Right now Wisconsin and Michigan State have called and sent mail," coach Calvin Matthews said. "And Indiana and Northern Illinois are showing interest. Northern Illinois is showing the most interest.
"He wants to go to Wisconsin. They have a talking relationship right now.
"He went to their camp last summer. He went to a spring practice a couple of weeks ago. They talked."
