WR Wilkins finishing May very strong

Decatur (Ill.) MacArthur junior wide receiver prospect Marques Wilkins (6-foot-1, 192 pounds) is finishing the May evaluation period very strong this week. Wilkins on Wednesday added offers from both Vanderbilt and Kansas State and Wilkins talks about his latest offers.
"I added two scholarship offers on Wednesday," Wilkins said. "Both Vanderbilt and Kansas State have offered me a scholarship. Both schools called me on Wednesday and offered me on the phone and both schools said the scholarship paperwork was in the mail."

Wilkins admitted that he has very little personal knowledge about Vanderbilt, but he's heard some good things.
"I really don't know a lot about Vanderbilt, but I've heard that academically Vandy is an outstanding school. I know that they play in the SEC, which is one of the premier conferences in the country. Vandy is also based in Nashville and I've heard that it's a really nice campus."
Kansas State is a school that Wilkins has been very familiar with over the years.
"I've been watching Kansas State for many years now, and I've seen them play in the Big 12 championship games and in bowl games over the years. K-State has a great program and I also really like it's offense. I really like the Big 12 conference and it's great to get an offer from the Wildcats."
Wilkins earlier this week named his early Top 4 favorites. Does he have any changes?
"I still like Illinois, Purdue, Michigan State and Wisconsin. I'm going to take some time before I make my final college choice, and I'm definitely going to take every school that offers me into consideration."
