WR Wilkins adds a Big 12 offer

Decatur (Ill.) MacArthur state ranked wide receiver prospect Marques Wilkins (6-foot-1, 192 pounds) has added an offer from the University of Missouri this week.
"I found out on Tuesday that Missouri has offered me a scholarship," Wilkins said. "I received the scholarship paperwork in the mail on Tuesday."

Wilkins talked about landing his latest offer from the Tigers.
"I know that Missouri will be a Top 25 caliber ranked team this season. They have some serious players coming back this year, plus I'm pretty familiar with the program and the coaches. I talked to the Missouri coaches in May and they seemed pretty interested in me, so I wasn't shocked when they offered me. Missouri is a school that I'm going to look into this summer. I might also take an unofficial visit to Missouri later this summer. I'm pretty excited about getting an offer from the Tigers."
Wilkins has remained consistent with his early favorites, but it also seems that Wilkins is in no hurry to make his final college decision.
"I still like Illinois, Purdue and Michigan State quite a bit so that hasn't really changed. I'm still trying to look at everyone who's offered me and who's recruiting me seriously at this point. I still want to make some unofficial visits and camps before I decide."
Wilkins is planning to check out a few schools this summer.
"I'm going to Notre Dame for a one-day camp in a week or so. I'm also still thinking about checking out Purdue and Michigan State on an unofficial visit, and now you can add Missouri to that list."
