WR Washington enjoys trip to South Bend

Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's 2007 wide receiver Taurian Washington took in a junior day to South Bend this past weekend. What did the 6-foot-0, 167-pounder think of his trip to Notre Dame?

"It went alright. I think it's really nice up there," he said. "I got to take a tour around the university, talk to all the football coaches and even see a Notre Dame/Providence basketball game.
"I thought coach Weis is a really nice guy and a great coach. I think the visit caused me to be a little more interested in them now."
Currently, Washington is favoring Ohio State and Wisconsin.
"I like Ohio State because they have a great football team and a wonderful program," he said. "I'm looking at Wisconsin because they throw the ball a lot and have a great program too."
The junior receiver doesn't have any other junior days scheduled, but is planning to head to Columbus for their Nike Camp.
