WR verbal imminent for Clemson

Marietta (Ga.) Walton wide receiver Aaron Kelly appears on the verge of making a commitment to Clemson.
Kelly (6-4, 180, 4.52) said he’s narrowed his choice to Clemson, Wake Forest and Duke, and he knows where he wants to go, but will sleep on it Sunday night before announcing at school on Monday.

“Clemson probably holds the upper hand right now,” he said. “They’ve got the kind of program and offense that I want, and they have the kind of coaching staff that I feel comfortable with.
“Wake and Duke have great academics. That’s given them a chance. And Wake’s program has been improving in the last couple of years.”
He visited Wake Forest in December, Clemson on Jan. 9 and Duke on Jan. 16.
As a senior, Kelly caught 50 passes for 950 yards and 17 touchdowns.
