WR Unsure Of Favorites

Daleville (Va.) Lord Botetourt wide receiver Jared White was a late addition to the East team in the US Army All-American Bowl this past weekend.
“It was a lot of fun,” said the 6-foot, 180-pounder. “I was a late replacement for Jason Avant who was hurt. I got to meet a lot of cool people. They worked us hard but we still had fun.”

White has already visited Northwestern (Dec. 7) and Miami (Ohio) (Dec. 14) and has Rice scheduled for Jan. 11. He’s also thinking of visiting Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
“I have offers from all of them,” he said. “I’m also getting some interest from Virginia and a little from Virginia Tech, but I think I want to get out of state.”
White set the state record with 231 career catches and had 84 catches this season for 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns.
“I don’t have a favorite,” he said. “I’ll decide when I take all my visits.”
