WR Thomas narrows field to two
"I visit Ohio State this weekend," College Park (Ga.) Banneker wide receiver Carlos Thomas said. "I leave on Friday. That will be my first official visit.
"I have Ohio State Jan. 7 and South Carolina Jan. 14. That's it right now. It's down to those two schools. They're about even right now.

"I watched Ohio State's (bowl) game. I liked it.
"Ohio State says I could play as a freshman. I could play both ways, cornerback and wide receiver. South Carolina says the same thing."
Asked if there was a chance he could commit to the Buckeyes this weekend, Thomas said, "I don't know. Probably not. I still have South Carolina."
The 5-foot-11 and 165 pound Thomas is the No. 9 wide receiver prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Georgia. He caught 25 passes and scored 12 times in seven games this season.
