Mission, Texas, wide receiver Earvin Taylor is in no hurry to make his decision but is narrowing down his list to decide on the schools that he would like to visit.
Taylor lists his top five as Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas, LSU and Miami. He is holding offers from Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arizona, Baylor and Rice.
As far as visits are concerned, Taylor has a pretty good idea which schools that he would like to visit.
“I haven’t set any visits up yet,” Taylor said. “I think I’ll visit the schools in my top five.”
The 6-3, 190-pound receiver recently received his scores from the SAT test and is happy with the results. He scored a 970 and combined with his 89.15 grade average, he will be fully qualified.
Taylor has been keeping an eye on Texas A&M with the help of his brother Jamaar. He said that he likes their offense, but wants to see heralded 2002 recruit Reggie McNeil play this season.
“I’d like to see Reggie play this year,” Taylor said. “He would be the one throwing me passes if I go there (Texas A&M).”
Taylor is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals100.com and is listed as the 55th best recruit in the state of Texas.
