WR Smith still mum on favorites

Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass High wide receiver Greg Smith is getting heavy interest from a number of schools, but he staying mum about his recruiting, though he’s decided what he will use to make his time.
“I’m talking to Georgia Tech, UConn, UNC, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tulane, Duke and Air Force,” Smith said. I have offers from all those schools, and they’re all really even with me.

“I like all the recruiting coordinators from all the schools, I get along with them, and they really are all even right now. My decision will really come down to three things: if I like the school, if my family likes the school and if I can make a difference where I go.”
Official visits could become a major factor in Smith’s decision, but the 6-foot-2 wide-out isn’t ready to commit to where he will make those trips just yet. Instead, he says that he will wait until after Douglass finishes the playoffs, and then will return to his college decision.
“Right now I’m just thinking about the rest of our season and winning state,” he said. “We won our region and we’re starting the playoffs on Saturday. I’ve got about 27 catches and 562 yards so far, and four touchdowns. I’m a play maker no matter what down it is. I make things happen, whether it’s a touchdown or first down.”
