Emmanual Harrell will make an
official visit to one of his leaders this weekend.
"He's scheduled to go to South Carolina this weekend,"
said LaGrange coach Steve Pardue. "Then it looks like Middle Tennessee will be
on the last weekend of the month. I'm not really sure which way he's leaning. It's hard to tell with Emmanual sometimes, but South Carolina has been on him for a while."
LSU and Florida have also been involved, but the
Gamecocks, who have a commitment from LaGrange quarterback Blake Mitchell, are
considered the favorite. Lou Holtz & Co. have recruited Harrell (5-11, 175, 4.4)
the longest and most consistently.
Harrell, a member of the Rivals.com
Georgia Top 50 team and the No.
24 wide receiver in the nation, caught 35 passes for 637 yards and eight
touchdowns as a senior. He also had 19 rushing attempts for 282 yards and five
scores.
