WR Perry talks UNC, Louisville, Ole Miss

Memphis (Tenn.) University School three-star wide receiver Devin Perry has turned his focus to the upcoming football season but not before starting to zero in on a few favorite schools.
Perry said that North Carolina, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss continue to pursue him the hardest. Most recently Perry visited North Carolina and came away very impressed.

"I love North Carolina," the 6-foot-2, 178-pound Perry said. "I get a long well with the coaches and I got to talk with [wide receivers] Coach [Gunter] Brewer. It's a nice campus with great coaches and I had a great time there."
With Perry not likely to make a decision until later in the year, he's started to think about where he might plan official visits in the fall. While most of his trips are up the air, there's one school that's already made the cut.
"There's only one school that I know I want to take an official visit to right now and that's North Carolina," Perry said.
Perry also broke down the others schools on his list:
Louisville: "I went up to Louisville in early June for camp. I like the campus, I like the way it's laid out. It's kind of small but I like that. I have to keep in touch with the coaches. When I was up there they told me a few things I liked to hear about how they would use me. It was a great visit."
Ole Miss: "They were the first school that started talking to me. [Assistant] Coach Maurice Harris is my recruiter. They told me they're low on wide receivers and they think I could come in and make an impact on the team using my speed and abilities. They said they could move me around and find a way to get me the ball."
Vanderbilt: "I've only visited one time but I enjoyed it. The coaches there seemed genuine and the head coach is a good guy. It's also close to home so that's a plus."
