WR Montgomery talks Wake

Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay wide receiver Alex Montgomery has led his team to a 4-1 start to open the season. The three-star prospect committed to Wake Forest in June and is planning to visit Winston-Salem when the Demon Deacons host Clemson on Thursday, October 25.
He has that weekend scheduled so he can take in the atmosphere and return for the team's game on Friday against Miramar (Fla.) Everglades.

The reliable pass catcher said, "I'm looking forward to it. This is the best class Wake has had in awhile. Everything is going good. I hope we land some more players, so we can turn around the program."
Kentucky, Louisville, and UCF are still actively recruiting the Lightning standout. The Wildcats seem to be recruiting him the hardest.
Montgomery stated, "I have a relationship with coach Pat Washington and head coach Joker Phillips. They have a lot of love for me."
Wake fans shouldn't be too worried though as he said, "I felt at home with Deacons staff . I'm probably not going to take any visits. I need to focus on my team first. "
He was planning on graduating early, but his school switched to block schedule this year and it won't allow him to be done in December. Montgomery will enroll in the summer of 2013.
