WR Lewis keeping the mailman busy

Gurnee (Ill.) junior wide receiver prospect Marcus Lewis (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) from Warren Township High School is the type of athlete that just rolls from one season to the next. Lewis, who's running track for the Blue Devils this spring (100/200/4x200 and long jump) took a few minutes away from training to talk about his latest recruiting news.
"I've started to see more mail recently," Lewis said. "Both Northern Illinois and Illinois have been sending me hand-written letters. I've also been getting steady mail from Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan State and Indiana."

Lewis, who's a three sport athlete at Warren Township (football/basketball/track) is hoping to get out and visit a few college spring events over the next few weeks.
"It's been hard for me to get out and see some spring practices because of track. I'm hoping to get out to Northwestern soon. I'm also planning to attend the Northern Illinois spring game on April 23rd. I also want to try to fit in a visit to Illinois soon."
Lewis is also getting ready for the Ann Arbor Nike Camp on May 7th.
"I'm really looking forward to the Nike Camp in Michigan. I'm looking to seeing how well I stack up against some of the best players and prospects in the Midwest. I'm definitely looking forward to that camp."
