WR Keith talks visits, leader

Three-star wide receiver Timmy Keith continues to hold half a dozen scholarships. The Manassas (Va.) Osbourn wideout claims one school is sticking out at this point in time.
"Right now I have the same six offers," he said. "I haven't taken any visits at the moment, but I'm trying to get down to some schools.

"I'm probably going down to Virginia this weekend for their game against North Carolina. I'm definitely going to get down to North Carolina and probably West Virginia and Pittsburgh. I don't have any dates."
What is Keith's status with the schools?
"West Virginia and Pittsburgh haven't offered," he said. "I talked to West Virginia about two weeks ago and they are really interested. I haven't heard much from Pittsburgh; I'm not really sure what's up with them.
"As for North Carolina, they are picking up on recruiting me. They are showing heavy interest and have talked about how they need a receiver that can block on the edges and catch the ball."
With interest rising from the Tar Heels, Keith claims they are moving up his list.
"I'm kind of favoring North Carolina right now," he said. "I haven't taken visits, so when I go down there I'll see. But, I feel like they are the right fit for me. I just like how the coaches are showing a lot of interest in me, more than any other school and I've watched them and like them."
The No. 27 prospect in the Commonwealth has helped Osbourn to a 7-0 start and finally broke out this past week with over 100-yards receiving.
"The season is going pretty well right now," he said. "I'm doing well, we just started to open up our pass offense and I had 104-yards and a touchdown in the last game.
"I feel like I could be contributing a lot more this year, but I know coach is doing what he can. He's putting the team first and that's what I'm doing too. When it comes time, I know I'll get the ball and I'll end up having the season I wanted to have."
