Jesiah Irish landed his first Pac-12 offer last week.

The Snoqualmie (Wash.) Mount Si wide receiver acted quickly and visited Corvallis this past weekend.

It went really well and now Irish is planning to make a decision on Monday.

“What really stood out to me the most is how all the coaches are and how much they care about the program starting with coach (Jonathan) Smith,” Irish said. “He’s lived it and done it and they all are coaches I highly trust.”

That seemed to be a big deal during and after the visit for Irish, who finished with 38 receptions for 709 yards and eight touchdowns this season averaging more than 18 yards per catch.

The Mount Si standout raved about the new coaching staff in Corvallis and it seems to be a leading factor for him as he works toward a commitment.

“Another thing that stood out to me is everyone on staff is low ego, high output and that was really cool to see,” Irish said. “They stand very high. I will be committing around 12 (Monday) and signing my NLI on Wednesday.”

The Snoqualmie Mount Si recruit has landed offers from Oregon State, BYU, Eastern Washington, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Montana State and Weber State.
