One thing is certain, Chris James is always on the move.

"I found out on Wednesday afternoon that I've been offered a scholarship by Minnesota," James said. "The coaches from Minnesota called my head coach (Lexie Spurlock) on Wednesday morning and said that they we're offering me a scholarship."
James, who now is has early scholarship offers from Minnesota, Illinois, Kansas and Northern Illinois talked about landing his latest offer from the Gophers.
"I called coach (Kerry) Cooks back this afternoon (Wednesday) at Minnesota and he confirmed that they were offering me and that the paperwork was already in the mail. I know that Minnesota over the last few years have been ramming the ball down everyone's throats, and I told coach that I'm the type of prospect who could help them. Minnesota has had good success over the last few years, and I feel that I'm the type of receiver who can catch and block. I take great pride in my ability to block, and I've always tried to be as well rounded a player as I can."
"Minnesota has a really good team, and I also told coach that I would try to make them throw the ball more. I'm excited to get an offer from Minnesota. It's the Big Ten and I've also heard good things about the school."
James was more than willing to talk in depth about his latest news, yet track practice awaited.
"You know how it is with me. I'm always on the move I guess. Just wanted to let everyone know about my latest offer, and I'm really happy and blessed with all of the recruiting offers and interest I've been receiving."
And in true Chris James fashion, away he went in a flash.
