WR James joins the offers race

Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park junior wide receiver prospect Chris James (6-foot-0, 177 pounds) has been drawing daily recruiting interest and scholarship offers during the May evaluation period.
"I've received four new offers since we last talked," James said. "Boston College, Oregon, Purdue and Houston have all offered me a scholarship. I have the paperwork on all of those offers except for Purdue, and Purdue said that they will be sending me the paperwork shortly."

James is still trying to nail his exact number of offers he's received this spring.
"I'm guessing that it's between anywhere from 15-20 offers in total. Not to sound cocky or anything, but I've been busy with school and track plus we had prom last weekend, so I've been pretty busy lately and I just need to sit down and sort it all out."
James and his Mustang teammates have continued to draw plenty of in school visitors.
"Nebraska and Miami of Ohio have been in school this week, plus Miami (Fla.), UNLV, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina State and Arizona State are all scheduled to be in over the next few weeks. It's definitely been an exciting time at school over the last few weeks."
James also talked about his recent surge of offers and increased recruiting interest.
"At first I just loved a few schools, but the more and more offers and interest that has come my way, the harder it is to sort things out. I really feel that I no longer have any early favorites. I'm going to look at all of my options at this point and sort things out from there."
James is also looking to attended a handful of one day camps this summer.
"I'm still looking to check out a handful of one day camps this summer. I'm looking to camp at Purdue, Illinois, Notre Dame and Minnesota."
