Hudson talked in depth about his Illini weekend experience.
"I has a basketball game in Champaign on Friday night, so I went over the campus after my game on Friday night. I was able to meet my player host (J. Leman) and I also had a chance to talk to a few of the coaches and with some of the players. Saturday was loaded with food as well as tours and academic presentations. We also had several positional meetings, and I also had a chance to talk with the academic advisors, which was really good. I came away really impressed with the academic support that Illinois offers it's student athletes. I also really enjoyed getting an inside look at the different buildings and the athletic facilities. Saturday night we went to dinner with the coaches and the recruits, and the food was great, We also hung out with our player hosts after dinner on Saturday night."
"On Sunday I had a chance after breakfast to meet and talk with both Coach (Ron) Zook and Coach (Mike) Locksley, and we had a very good discussion. I was basically able to get everything lined up. I'm excited for Signing Day to come now. I can't wait to play for those coaches at Illinois after taking my visit and getting to know them better."
