WR Harvell is camping

Dinwiddie, Va. wide receiver Drakar Harvell holds one offer to date. The 5-foot-10, 191-pounder is busy with camps as he is working for more scholarships. He discussed the latest with Rivals.com.
"I've been laying low," he said. "I went to 7-on-7 at Richmond and their coach told me to come to their one day on July 23rd.

"I recently went to Virginia for a passing league on June 18th. It was pretty good up there. I didn't really get a chance to see the coaches, so I couldn't really talk to them."
Aside from another Richmond camp, Harvell plans to head to Blacksburg on Saturday.
"I believe I'm going to camp at Tech this weekend," he said. "Coach Shane Beamer came by the school at the beginning of May while we were still in school. They wanted me to come up there to see the campus and see how I do."
Harvell claims one scholarship from Buffalo at this time. What's the latest with the Bulls?
"They want me to come up there for one day before the summer ends," he said. "I'm trying to get the money right to make the trip up there. My coach is communicating with them and I talk with them on the phone. I'm going to get it set up before the season starts, but I'm not sure yet when I'll go."
Harvell noted that Buffalo along with one other school stands out.
"I really like Richmond a lot and I'm waiting on that camp, hopefully I'll get an offer from them. They are pretty high on my list," he said. "I went up there a couple times and just feel comfortable up there. It's close and there are no distractions. The wide receivers coach is like my cousin or something, I'm very close with him.
"I'm really close to Richmond and Buffalo, they are high on my list now."
