What were the highlights?
“I’d say getting to know the players and spending time with them,” Hall said. “I felt like I was wanted there, and that I fit in well with the other guys. Skyler Thornton was my host. We had a good time hanging out with a group of guys that did a bunch of stuff together. The coaches were real nice, too. Everything just went real well.”
Any thoughts of a commitment on a big weekend for Gator verbals?
“It was nice, but I’m going to take at least one more visit,” he said. “I’m going to go to LSU on the 23rd. It will probably be Florida or LSU. But, yeah, Florida has a good shot.”
Asked what made LSU a good option at this point, Hall said: “They’re on a roll right now. National champs, you know. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
Hall didn’t write off the possibility of visiting Alabama on the 16th, but said that trip is still up in the air. Florida State was also on his list throughout the recruiting process, but he says he hasn’t seen any intent on the Seminoles’ part to offer a scholarship.
As a senior, Hall caught approximately 35 passes for 800 yards and 14 touchdowns. He is rated the No. 38 wide receiver in the nation by Rivals.com.
