WR Fisher talks Notre Dame camp

Bolingbrook (Ill.) state ranked wide receiver prospect Carl Fisher (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) was one of several top prospects from across the country who attended the University of Notre Dame last Saturday for the Irish one-day camp.
"I thought that my camp at Notre Dame went pretty good on Saturday," Fisher said. "The coaches at Notre Dame told me after the camp that I definitely improved my recruiting stock with them after this camp. The coaches at Notre Dame asked me to stay in touch with them over the next few weeks."

Fisher talked about his overall impressions from the Fighting Irish camp.
"The Notre Dame camp had maybe 50 kids total, so it was a good chance for me to get a lot of reps in. I also had a chance to really show the coaches what I can do on the field. I wasn't thrilled with my overall testing at the camp, but I still think I tested pretty high compared to the other kids at the camp. I also was pretty happy about how I caught the ball at the camp all day."
Fisher, who has camped this summer at Iowa and Notre Dame is done with the college camp circuit.
"I'm basically done with the college camps this summer. I had good experiences at both Iowa and Notre Dame, and I was able to improve upon my overall game at the camps. I'm just gearing up now for our team camp and passing 7 on 7's."
Look for Fisher to take his time with his recruiting.
"I really don't have any favorites at this point. I'm just going to take the recruiting stuff slow for now. I might wait until after the season is over with before I make any real serious decisions. I might go to a handful of college games this fall, and I might also try to take a few official visits this fall if I can fit them into our team schedule."
