WR Fisher takes in ND junior day

Bolingbrook (Ill.) junior wide receiver prospect Carl Fisher (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) was one of several prospects in attendance at Sunday's University of Notre Dame junior day event. Fisher talked about his impressions of Notre Dame and more in this recruiting update.
"I had a really good day overall at Notre Dame on Sunday," Fisher said. "I really enjoyed the chance to get to see the campus as well as getting a chance to get to know the coaches at Notre Dame better."

Fisher, who has an early offer from Utah, talked about what stood out on his visit to Notre Dame.
"The first thing that really stood out to me about Notre Dame is just the overall passion for the program from the coaches and the fans. People in South Bend are definitely very passionate about the football team and the football program overall. Also, the tradition and the history at Notre Dame is really impressive. You can just feel and sense the history and the pride the moment you hit the campus."
Fisher will take in another junior day event this coming weekend at the University of Illinois.
"I missed the last junior day at Illinois a few weeks back, so I'm heading down to Champaign this coming weekend. I'm really familiar with Illinois since my sister attends the University of Illinois. I've been to Champaign many times before, but I'm looking forward to talking with the coaches and learning more about the football program."
