WR Edwards favoring Rutgers

Miami (Fla.) Norland wide receiver Kendrick Edwards plans to commit before the start of his senior season.
Edwards has a top five of Arkansas, Auburn, Louisville, Rutgers, and South Carolina.

This summer he went to the Scarlet Knights camp and he liked his trip to Piscataway. Edwards said, "It was really nice. I had a good time. I met all the coaches and hung out with the players."
The Rutgers staff said Edwards reminds them of junior wideout Brandon Coleman. It's an easy comparison for Edwards, who stands 6-foot-5, 200-pounds.
One of the highlights of the camp was catching passes from four-star signal caller and Rutgers pledge Tyler Wiegers.
Edwards has built a good relationship with Razorbacks assistant coach Randy Shannon.
Why Shannon and the 'Hawgs? Edwards remarked, "He is a [Norland] alumni. We always talk about football."
Playing time will be a factor in his decision. As a junior, he snagged 24 passes for 443 yards and eight touchdowns.
