WR down to seven schools

Kadron Boone is a four-star prospect from Ocala Trinity Catholic High School in Florida. Boone, 6-1 and 195 pounds, is a player who feels blessed to be in his position. He has 30 scholarship offers and he can't believe the options in front of him.
"I never, ever thought I would be here," Boone said. "I tore my ACL my sophomore year and if someone then would have told me I would have 30 scholarship offers I would have thought you were crazy and that you were trying to make me feel good. I feel like I am living my childhood dream and that I will be playing big time college football very soon."
Of the 30 or so schools that are courting Boone, he insists that he has narrowed things down to seven schools; Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Georgia, Clemson, South Carolina, Miami and Florida.
"That's about it right now. I am trying to narrow things down and I am starting to get strict with the things that I am looking at. I want to play for a great coaching staff, especially the wide receiver coach. I want to find a staff with father figures so when I need it I can sit down with them and get help. Academics are big and so are the graduation rates. I want to find a school with a great business program. Plus, I want to fit in and get playing time as a freshman.
"I will plug in these factors with the schools remaining and see what happens. If there are three in my mind that fit, I will take three visits. If there are five, I will take five vitits."
Boone hopes to have things narrowed down even further by the end of the summer.
"I want to have it narrowed down actually by sometime in August so I can focus on school and football. I will likely take my visits after the season.
Last season as a junior Boone caught 57 receptions for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns. During the spring he visited both Florida and USF. He has not taken any unofficial visits or attended any team camps this summer.
