He racked up 2,262 all-purpose yards and 32 touchdowns while playing all over the field. College coaches took notice shortly after and his recruitment has picked up tremendously over the course of the year.
Offensive Coordinator Marcus Rogers reports early offers from Alabama, Arkansas State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, and Texas.
Rogers also said Kansas State, Michigan State, and Oregon has shown interest in the speedy wideout.
Where does each school stand for his services?
Dear said, "I'm going to visit most of the schools that have reached out. It's hard for me to have a favorite yet because I've only been to Oxford and Starkville."
Florida State is a new school in the picture for Dear as the 'Noles have contacted him.
When asked about his dream offer?
"It was Oregon, but since Chip Kelly left I'm not sure what's going on there," remarked Dear.
Dear has a few schools on his radar that he hopes to hear from in the coming months. He listed Georgia, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and USC as programs wants to learn more about.
He called Percy Harvin his favorite NFL receiver because he said people compare him to the Vikings specialist due to his explosiveness and speed.
Dear has registered and is scheduled to appear at the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, April 6.
