WR/DB Rucker talks recruiting

Minneapolis (Minn.) Breck's junior wide receiver/defensive back prospect Xavier Rucker (5-foot-8, 160 pounds) wrapped up his winter hoops season last week, and now Rucker is focused on getting ready for a busy senior year in football.
"We lost in the sectional final game by two points," Rucker said. "It was a hard loss to take, but we had a pretty good season looking back. Now I'm ready to start getting ready for football."

Rucker will make his first college junior day visit this weekend to Michigan State University.
"I was invited to several junior day events, but because of basketball I wasn't able to make it to any of those. I'm really looking forward to checking out Michigan State this weekend. I'm also thinking about checking out Nebraska later this spring for either a spring practice or possibly the Nebraska spring game."
Rucker has been receiving steady mail and recruiting interest from several schools this winter.
"I've been getting steady mail from Michigan State, Louisville, Central Florida, Nebraska and Purdue lately. I really don't have any early favorites at this point. I'm just looking to play football at the next level and I'll consider any school that is interested in recruiting me at this point."
