WR/DB Adds Many Offers

The last time we spoke to wide receiver Jonathan Jackson from Philadelphia (Pa.) West Catholic, he had just one offer. Things have changed now.
"I have offers from Boston College, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Virginia, Pitt and Iowa now," said the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder who is also being recruited as a free safety and cornerback. "Some schools want me as a wideout, others as a safety and others as a corner. I really don't care, I just want to play."

Jackson, who had 40 catches as a junior, has a solid top five right now.
"I like Boston College, Michigan State, Wake Forest, Virginia and Iowa the best," he said. "I've been to all of them except for Iowa. I'll need to take my official visits before I decide."
Jackson's first offer came from Boston College and he has an ex-teammate, linebacker Michael Bazemore, at Michigan State.
"Little things like that can separate a school, but I'm really looking for academics, location and comfort level," he said. "I think my mom has her favorite school, but she hasn't told me yet. I know she stresses academics over everything."
Jackson will take one or two official visits during his season and the rest afterwards.
"Right now my top five schools look like the places I'll visit," he said. "I want to see them when there are people on campus."
